I met Zakane/ Tan Hong Xiang a few weeks ago during my visit to Singapore, on an occasion of visiting Andy Heng in the hospital.
And he gave me a beautiful custom of PixelBlox, that gave me instant surprises.

This month Istanbul flooded not only by snow, but also papertoys customs exhibition at Milk Gallery that organized by Cagry Akyurt. And it such a great oportunity that he asked me to join the fun making custom of his Yubba template, and some of you must already know that i made “The Furious” for the show. And the photo above are him, standing nicely on the exhibition shelf.

Some of you probably wondering how does Lemi do the space traveling, and while the question still airing in our head, a cool guy named Chand Martinez designing a very nice spaceship for you to enjoy.
At last it finished, i can’t work properly lately, because of the weather here are way too hot for my creative brain, so that creating something that as easy as picking your nose, happened to be something as difficult as it may made of something from the quantum book, i even do a wrong calculation about the round of the circle, those guys from the pi club must hate me for this.
But… now it’s finished, you can download this for free, like you do with Games of Bingo and other programmes, and to make it more merrier, i made this papertoys as a riddle, yeappp… you have to decide which one to cut, which line to fold and which part to glue, and how to make him sing a song.
After it finished, you’ll love him, as he’ll ease your life burden, you can sing a song together, have a chit-chat about the cute neighbors, or you can share a listen to him your very-very-very updated i-tune playlist, and listen to a very nice podcast together.
yeap.. even if he prefer to sing Julio Iglesias, but he respect your musical taste.
I remember when i was a kid, (i think when i’m still 6 or 7) i played this game with my parents, a game that they’ve used to play before the were married. And now after more than two decades, Zakane made this custom and it bring back old memories, i should thank him for this.
Meet Paper Gangsta !, a collective of 7 freaks, that wished to conquer the world, starting from your room. I met them during the SGTCC, and pretty much impressed by their papercraft works. And after learning that they’ll held a custom exhibition for two of their template. I said to myself that i have to spare some time to customize at least one of it, and now you can see the result in the picture above.
At the SGTCC i ask some people to make a custom Lemi, and here are a custom by Joe Ledbetter and Gary Baseman, it’s a very simple addition using marker and pen, but yet it such a very nice gesture of them. if you want to collect the pattern click here to download the pattern.
